Carlos Zerpa

Carlos Zerpa's transdisciplinary practice intersects storytelling, visual arts, and social commitment to empower underrepresented characters by creating transgressive and irreverent stories. Co-founder of MECHA, a collective with whom he has directed and produced several award-winning street arts, editorial, and animation projects.

Recently, he has participated in international mentoring programs, such as Berlinale Talents, Global Cultural Relationships Platform, Sundance Collab and Bridging the Gap, and in the artist residencies Sacatar Institute, Saari, Villa Strauli, and La Maison des Auteurs.
